Brief Look into JKR Sarawak Form of Contracts

JKR Form of Contract is a construction contract issued by the Public Works Department of Malaysia to establish legal relations between the contracting parties. Sarawak, the largest territory in the Federation of Malaysia, has published its Form of Contract under the domain Public Works Department called JKR Sarawak Form of Contract. Within, we would like to emphasize the roles of two major parties within the Contract: the Employer and the Contractor. For the Employer, the roles and responsibilities are defined in Clause 5, General Obligations of Employer, and for the Contractor, in Clause 6, General Obligations of Contractor, respectively.
